Cardinal Fitness Closes Seven Indy Locations

From other reports Cardinal Fitness did not tell their customers nor their employees. There was just a letter posted on the business front door.

Cardinal Fitness to close seven Indianapolis area locations

INDIANAPOLIS - If you work out at Cardinal Fitness in the Indianapolis area, you may get a surprise this morning -- the doors will be locked.
Eyewitness News has learned the locations in Broad Ripple, Greenwood, Fortune Park, Geist, Pendleton Pike, Washington Street, and SouthPort will all close.
A statement from Cardinal Fitness says they are shutting their doors because of the economy.  "Operating expenses, marketing costs and incredible amount of new competition has increased to the point that competing is no longer possible in our current locations."
